SPORTS CENTRE

The 2020 Carifta Games will be held at the

Bermuda National Sports Centre.

The Bermuda National Sports Centre is centrally located in the Parish of Devonshire - 5 minutes from the City of Hamilton, Bermuda's capital.

 

The Sports Centre is a multi - purpose complex that features a Track & Field stadium, swimming pool, field hockey pitch and Cricket field. 

 

The track has been the home of various national and international records. Most notably Usain Bolt's 200-meter world junior record when Bermuda hosted the 2004 edition of the Carifta games. 

The Track has also hosted several international events. Including the 2004 and 2012 Carifta Games. Along with the Bermuda invitational Permit Meet which hosted notable athletes such as LaShawn Merritt, Wallace Spearman, Lalonde Gordon, Semoy Hackett and Jessica Beard
